Eleni Pellazgu, PhDc, APN, FNP-C, CSNC, PCCN, RN-BC

 

has a vast experience as nurse practitioner in nutrition, diabetes and metabolism and functional medicine.

While at Atlantic Health, Eleni was responsible for coordinating care of patients in need of Metabolic and Bariatric Medicine. She is also a senior faculty at Walden University and Rutgers University.

Her work as clinician and doctoral prepared APN allows Eleni to conduct research in different areas of interest such as microbiome nutrition, oncology, physical functioning and sarcopenia in older adults, Protein metabolism, Anabolic Resistance, Obesity, medical Nutrition in the critically ill, and Hypoparathyroidism and Bariatric Surgery patients.

Her work has been published and had been presented nationally and internationally.

She holds multiple national certifications in nursing such as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) Progressive Critical Care Nursing certification ( PCCN), Gerontology certification ( RN-BC) and Clinical Nutrition CNSC from ASPEN. 

Eleni earned a Bachelor in Nursing from  Thomas Edison State College and a master in Nursing as Family Practice Nurse from Rutgers University and is currently obtaining a Ph.D. in Nursing Research and Education.
